Press: The Holt Twins & Charmaine will be doing their beautiful folk renditions on 12 & 6 string guitars, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, flute, fife, & hammered and mountain dulcimers- Roy Justice, a singing historian, will also be performing. Our show will be 1:30- 2:30.

Other: This year will be our 50th annual Harvest Fair! The dates are Sat. Sept. 15th from 10am-5pm and Sun., Sept. 16th from 11:30am-4:30pm. The stage will open on Saturday for a Family Sing Along and on Sunday you can join us for a Hymn Sing. There will be cake walks, apple bobbing, and music on Saturday by Roy Justice, the "Time Traveling Minstrel" & also The Holt Twins & Charmaine with their entrancing harmonies & many instruments.
John Lionarons, famed hammered dulcimer player, singer, and guitarist from Philadelphia, will be performing on Sunday.
You can see many farming demos including plowing, harrowing, harvesting, threshing, reaping, and gathering. Mike Elmer, & Landis Valley, plus the PA Draft Horse & Mule Association will be leading these farming demonstrations. Don't forget to check out Dale's heirloom chickens and other farm animals, the water pumping demo, and visit the gift shop and Blacksmith Shop. Jason Long will again lead his crew doing sawmill and shingle sawing demos. You can make a German Star , play with colonial toys, and try some clear toy candy.
We will also have house & garden tours, colonial needlework, baking demos, wagon rides, cider pressing, apple buttermaking, lots of goodies to eat, hands on activities and many beautiful handmade 18th & 19th century crafts to see! The Sheep to Shawl Demo will be on Sunday.
There will be much to experience and only 2 days to see it! Admission is still $5.00 for adults and kids over 12, but members are free. Please bring your membership card. The Harvest Fair is rain or shine, and please, do not bring your pets, our insurance does not allow them.
